There are three active and growing Shepherd's Groups within Rainbow Promise MCC. The groups are NOT usually referred to as "Bible Study" groups though Bible Study is at the core of each meeting. But the fellowship and friendship and care and support that flows through each group makes it impossible to limit the name to "Bible Study." Each Shepherd's Group is facilitated by church members or a Deacon or the Reverend...with the experience and skill to bring new ideas and insights into the message of the Holy Bible. The Group's locations range throughout the county and meet on different nights of the week to make the meetings as easy and convenient as possible. The tone and the dress is, of course, comfortable and informal.

The Angel Ministry is a collection of caring MCC members dedicated to the comfort and services of both church members and our community.
The Angel Ministry was established to offer visitation to those who are hospitalized, homebound, or in nursing facilities. The referral requests may be made through the pastor, the chairperson, members of the congregation, or an outside source. Anyone with knowledge of someone in need is encouraged to email or call the church and leave a message. Referrals must be made with the permission of the person referred. Angels may offer companionship, words of comfort, prayer, or communion and may offer to run errands or provide respite services for the caregiver. Ministry members may find it necessary to make additional referrals for financial assistance or counseling for the individual through the pastor, chairperson, or deacons.
Visitation will be maintained with the strictest confidentiality. |

The Music Program at Rainbow Promise MCC is a vital and dynamic Ministry of the church...not an afterthought or mere entertainment. The Music Ministry is integrated and integral to the life and work and heart of the church. Those who are musically inclined join the choir to sing. They soon find they are doing much more. They are inspiring, training others, bringing others into the choir, improving their musicianship and also contributing to the OUTREACH of the church by reaching out with their sound and their devotion. Soloists from the choir frequently step forward. Much music and inspiration is also provided by members who accompany on organ, piano and percussion. Talented guest musicians often share their musical stories with us as well.
Choir Practice is regularly on Thursday evenings at 7:30 at the church. The Choir has almost doubled in just over a year. But there is always room for more so anyone who is interested is urged to attend rehearsal and participate in this wonderful ministry. |

Our
burgeoning flock is served by a very active and growing
Deacon Ministry. Our Deacons are Otto Wunder, Rhonda Lunn,
Emil Kubas and Cookie
McQuaig. Our Deacons grew into this selfless lay ministry
through long-time service and devotion to the church. Other
devoted and experienced MCC members are presently preparing
for or considering deacon service. The deacons of MCC are
lay ministers who assist the Pastor whenever called-upon
and appropriate. Anyone seeking pastoral care or attention
should feel free to contact
any of the deacons.
